How long did you achieve your career as a Transformation Coach?

It took a year of studying for my realtor license and hustling various gigs to come back from what seemed to be a dark place.  Eventually, I received a call out of the blue and landed a job as a project manager with commitment, grit, and determination, I got promoted 3 times and eventually to the position of Director. My confidence in myself and what I was capable of had come a long way, and I started thinking about branching out further and reviving my consulting business. I just knew I was an entrepreneur at heart. I wanted flexibility and autonomy not only for myself but for my son. With a massive leap of faith, trust & courage, I handed in my notice, knowing full well I didn’t have a job to go to the next day.  I knew in my spirit that God had something better for me.  To my amazement, after sharing this with a colleague at work that day, I received a call that night from a contractor saying “Listen, Nicole, I heard you’ve resigned, we have just landed a new contract and we are looking for someone to lead this project.  I have an opportunity for you, are you interested?”.

Suddenly, things turned around for my good!

How long have you been doing what you do, and how did you become a Transformation Coach?

To answer this question, it probably bests that I share with you a defining moment, resulting in a “compelling story”, that brought me to where I am today coaching women just like you on how to live a life of purpose, autonomy, and flexibility.

Everything seemed to come crashing down on me at once; a failed marriage, living as a single mom alone with my 3 years old son to support, and as an independent consultant I found myself out of work. I was broken and scared and yet I had to show a brave face to the world. I told myself I had to be strong and get us out of this mess, yet at the same time, I felt like a frightened child inside. Financially broke, I spent many days unable to function and emotionally crippled by fear. My heart skipped a beat receiving an unexpected bill in the mail. The bills kept coming, and I remember this one substantial debt notice brought me to my knees and I screamed out loud at that moment to God. I had no idea how I was going to pay for this, asking God “please you have to cover this, I need your help”. To this day I can’t remember what or how it happened, but not long after this a check to cover the amount arrived in the mail! Little by little, these miracles started happening for me, and my faith and trust started returning. I was humbled and now listening to God, things were going to be ok. It seemed to me that as soon as I hit a crisis and leaned in and trusted believed and loved this journey of life, instead of fighting it, my faith, and my self-worth grew!
